Teriana Maheno comes from a small town called Waipu, about half an hour south of Whangarei in Northland. She spent her secondary schooling at Bream Bay College, where she finished as Head Girl and Dux. Teriana loves playing the piano and bass, and although a keen traveller, she also enjoys diving and lazing at the beach during the summer.
Teriana joined Selwyn in 2008 as a first year Health Science student. Now a "returner", she is in her second year of study for a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Anatomy and Structural Biology. In the future she is looking toward postgraduate studies overseas.

With exams looming and everyone settling down to some serious study the various floors at selwyn ventured out for one last night of bonding before hitting the books! Floor dinners all round :)
